After Sunday’s loss the Bears are now 4 and 5 and with the fans booing there are now a new movement to fire the head coach Matt Eberfluess. We are now 3 years in this current regime and with a 14 and 25 he has the worst record of any Bear head coach of all time. I think it is time to ask GM Ryan Poles to honestly review his decision on the head coach and let’s move forward and replace the head coach now. Fans are calling for Caleb Williams to be removed as a starter after being sacked 21 times in the past to blame games. It is Caleb to blame, and I say no because it starts with the Offensive Line the problem is they have been for the past three years. Ryan Poles has wasted draft capital on players like Keenan Allen is Caton already has a place in the Hall of Fame. DJ Moore, the Stalwart wide receiver who is now also suffering. Tight End Cole Klemet who is not being used. Running Back Deandre Swift another draft pick. Offensive Line wasting draft picks and then these guys are not on the field. Simple Caleb Williams, when he has time, he excels and has already shown leadership in assuming responsibility for his shortcomings and let’s remember he is a rookie. The leading receiver is Rome the rookie. Where do we go from here and that is simple run first and play conservative football. The Defense needs to get heathy and at this point we need to try and salvage the season. Bears need to promote Special teams coach Richard Hightower to interim head coach fire Matt Eberfluess and Shane Waldron and move forward. Coach Hightower has the respect of his players and think can get the team back on track.

Heading into Division play the realistic outlook at this point is Bears win at least 3 more games which gives them the same record as last season after all the free agent signings and wasted draft capital we are repeating the process of the past ten seasons in which the Bears have made the playoffs twice. As a Bears fan this is unacceptable and with the team demanding a new stadium really before we give you the stadium why don’t you put a competitive product out on the field and help us to believe in this once proud franchise.
