Early Voting for City of Aurora Please Review the Candidates and Make Your Voice Heard by WF Andrew
Aurora on February 25th you will go to the polls and cast your vote for the next mayor of the 2nd largest city in the States. Issues that we face are infrastructure, creating jobs, budget, playable drinking water, and basic services. Aurora is fortunate to have four members of the community who in their own ways have been given back to the city. Richard Irvin has served as mayor of Aurora for the past two terms and was Alderman at large before that. Karina Garcia has served at the President of the Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; she also sits on local boards such as the Alive Center in Aurora and the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry. Karina has been a leader in helping to bring jobs and progress to the City of Aurora. Jud Lofchie has served as former alderman and current East Aurora school board member Jud has helped to bring business back to Aurora. Ted Mesiacos is a current alderman and grew up in Aurora on the East Side. Since 2006 Ted has invested in the community.
What Aurora has been four strong serious candidates who have stepped forward because of their passion for seeing the community be successful. We invite you to please check out all four of the front runners and decide what direction you would like to see the city move in.
