The Village’s free Fall Cleanup Collection is the week of November 11.

Use this opportunity to set out additional household waste, bulk items like couches and dressers, and yard waste on your regularly scheduled garbage day. Stickers are not necessary, but yard waste must be placed in Kraft bags.

On November 11, the Oswego American Legion will be hosting their annual Veteran Day Ceremony to honor all who have served our country. The ceremony will be held at the Oswego Veterans Memorial Plaza, 1 Main Street, in downtown Oswego at 11 a.m.

There will be remarks from the Village President and Commander of Legion Post 675. The posting of colors, bagpipe music and firing party will be presented by the Oswego Police Department and Oswego Fire Protection District.

In observance of Veterans Day, Village facilities will be closed on November 11.

Rotary Club Veterans Drive

Support local veterans by donating needed items on November 9 during the Rotary Club of Oswego's Veterans Drive. From 10 a.m. to noon, drop off items at the Rotary's gazebo in front of Village Hall.

Village Hall is located at 100 Parkers Mill in Oswego. View a list of suggested donation items.

Christmas Walk
Give the gift of your time this season! Become a Christmas Walk volunteer and help us spread joy throughout our downtown on December 6.

Free HOA training
Join Kendall County for a free training session tailored to homeowners’ associations on November 14 at 6:45 p.m. in the Kendall County Office Building's Board Room, 111 W. Fox Street in Yorkville.

Topics covered will include:

Stormwater Infrastructure Maintenance: Anthony Bryant from WBK Engineering will share best practices for HOA stormwater management.
Building and Zoning Enforcement: Brian Holdiman from the Kendall County Planning, Building & Zoning Department will discuss county enforcement procedures.
All homeowners’ associations, including those within municipalities, are invited. No RSVP is required.
