Bear Down by Martin Flowers

Bears finally addressed the White Elephant in the room on the offensive and defensive side of the ball on the line. Bears started off by acquiring two guards and adding a center the Bears have addressed in protecting Caleb Williams. The Bears’ focus this off season is to invest in the ability to bring in leadership and will work with new head coach Ben Johnson vision of the 2025 Bears will look like. On Defense the Bears signed a Defensive Tackle and an edge rusher that will improve the pass rush. The Bears will have a strong defense, and this will help keep the Bears in the game.
What does this all mean in terms of what the Bears are going to look like. The Bears are going to run the football and protect Caleb Williams. Bears will run a two tight end set and will use Dandre Swift. Bears will use some schemes in establishing the passing game. Now let’s look at what Caleb Williams did as a rookie with a horrible offensive line he threw for over 3500 yards, 22 touchdowns and only 6 interceptions and having his offensive coach not being able to coach him because they fired the head coach and the offensive coordinator. Losing 10 games in a row, Caleb never gave up and still produced.
Bears will continue to build the roster, adding a few more free agents and have 3 picks in the top 41 and the focus will be to invest the building the depth in the trenches. The Bears have a real game plan with what Ben Johnson and Ryan Poles are offering to the Bears fans. Let us still be realistic and will see what the Coach will do with this updated Roster.
