Little White School Museum
During the January 21 Village Board meeting, the Little White School Museum was proudly honored for its 175th year of preserving and sharing the rich history of Oswego. Originally built in 1850 as a Methodist-Episcopal Church in the striking Greek Revival style, this historic building has served as a church, a school and now as a cherished community museum.
Thanks to the dedication of the Oswegoland Heritage Association, countless volunteers and local partners, the museum stands today as one of Oswego’s most iconic historical landmarks. With nearly 38,000 artifacts, photographs and documents, it offers a fascinating journey through time—from prehistoric days to modern Oswego.
Plan your visit to explore its newly redesigned gallery and experience Oswego’s story firsthand. The Little White School Museum is located at 72 Polk Street in Oswego.
